Como Secondary College is a public, co-educational state high school in Western Australia. The college is located on Bruce Street, in the suburb of Como. ==The College== Como Secondary College, in Perth, Western Australia is an Independent Public (State) School – offering a surprising package of all round support for its students. It boasts a number of nationally respected specialist programs including; Academic Talent: The EMITS (Enriched Mathematics, Information Technology and Science) program which is a selective program available by application, testing and interview. The EMITS students are placed in a streamed class for all core curriculum areas for the first three years and then progress seamlessly to the year eleven and twelve mainstream program. The College has developed a strong relationship with Curtin University – Western Australia’s largest and most multicultural university. Golf: The Golf Academy is arguably Australia's best school program - with a string of local, state, and national titles and achievements to its credit. Over 16 professional golfers have graduated from the program, and the Academy holds five Australasian titles, five national teams’ titles, and thirteen state teams’ titles. A number of Academy players have been world schools' championships winners. Hockey: The Hockey Program is probably Australia's best school hockey program (and most certainly Western Australia's best school program) - with both boys' and girls' teams dominating competition in Western Australia every year. Music: The music program – an excellent program which produces fine musicians – has junior and senior Contemporary (Jazz/Swing) and Concert bands. The bands always succeed at the highest levels of competition – at the local and national level. The College has an outstanding Pastoral Care Program. The small school prides itself in catering very successfully for its very diverse population of international students, regional WA students, academic talent program students, as well as golfing, hockey, and music students - all integrated yet with opportunities to specialise to the highest standards. The diversity of the student population is broadened further by the contributions of a strong International Students' program at the school and by students who come from all over the metropolitan area and regional Western Australia to be part of one of the specialist programs. Many Regional WA students choose to board in the nearby Rotary House. The College offers international tours in Hockey, Golf and Music and the opportunity of travel to different international destinations with the World Challenge organisation every two years. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Como Secondary College」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
